I have been using Amsoil for about 20 years. I have built up a lot of anecdotal evidence on how well it works. However, i will say i do not trust those combo remote oil setups. I jsut dont see how they can work properly. The regular EaO filters, love them. Bypass filters? Love them. I will never use one of those remote setups like you showed. I dont trust the hydraulics.

i have always changed my oil regularly as well as the filter every time anywhere from 3k-5k miles with full synthetic oil. i never used the high tier oil cause of price, but do agree that any decent mid tier oil is a good minimum for someone like me who just uses ones vehicle just to go to and from work along with some light traveling.

I always feel wrong using a screwdriver for jobs that don't involve driving screws. Well, Ray and his green mini-pry bar finally convinced me, and I ordered (the pair, 1/8" and 1/4") from Amazon.

So the problem was the compressor was replacing that the solve cause I’m having the same issue before cutting the A/C off fixed it now it seems to be ticking even while off? If anyone has an idea please let me know

Amsoil is one of the few oils that is "100%" synthetic, not "full" synthetic. There is a difference. Been using it since all most day one in my 1991 Nissan Pathfinder 4 x4 now with over 200.000 miles. I do a flush every other oil change. Runs and sounds like new.

I will say don’t use amsoil ATF in Hondas I tried it and caused my trans drive light to flash about 5k miles later The car drove fine but code read the trans temp too low and Overdrive not activated On highway driving which is where my D light on started! Amsoil is great on anything other than Hondas and Toyotas! A trans fluid being too cold in a trans is just as bad as it overheating!

He is like that because other machines steal, and now he can't tell the difference having someone honest

I have an AMSOIL 2 micro bypass filter kit on my 2016 6.7L Powerstroke 4x4. It does filter out the soot. However, Fords oil specification WSS-M2C171-F1 does not list any AMSOIL products. I use Rotella T6 advanced full synthetic oil. I change it out between 5,000-7500 miles changing out the 2 micron filter every other oil change. 112k miles truck is Stock no tuning.

Florida has no cold starts. Minnesota, Michigan, North Dakota. Now there's some cold starts.

At sea, oil samples are taken regulary and sent for analysis. This is the best way to ascertain the condition of the oil in a SYSTEM ( engine , g/box, or whatever) Yes it costs money, But, the cost can be cheaper in the long run, knowing your oil is up to spec for continued use.

That’s a cool truck the last of the real ones. Be nice to park her in a locked garage when you’re not using it. Adds 20+ years to the life of them. Especially in that climate. I have a 23 year old Holden in Australia that’s been garaged its whole life and it’s really clean and well preserved. Love your truck
